Newborn Penguins Named After Doctor Who Characters Are Out-Of-This-World Cute (PICTURES)

This adorable newborn baby Humboldt penguin born at Chester Zoo has been named after the timelord himself, Doctor Who.

Keepers at the Chester Zoo have named all this year’s babies after famous characters from the show, in celebration of its 50th anniversary this year.

I hope this is okay for a submission.  I have a Japanese copy of Animal Crossing: New Leaf with the sewing machine unlocked, so I decided to make some DW clothes for my fellow Whovians who will be getting the game and because making my characters cosplay is fun.  One’s a TARDIS dress and the other is the 11th Doctor’s outfit.  You can’t make pants though, so yeah.

Also, the game makes the dress stretchy and stuff in different parts on its own and it’s hard to predict, but close enough.  X_x  When you’re designing everything’s on a 32x32 pixel square.

Still, the QR codes are supposed to work on the American and European games too, so I hope any Whovians getting the games can have fun using these to dress up like The Doctor and the TARDIS.

I really want a Wii game where you’re fighting Cybermen or Daleks from the Doctor’s point of view so the Sonic is your wiimote and you have to pilot the TARDIS with the nunchuck and yeah, I’d buy that.

This is the best line in almost any TV series ever but you really only understand the enormity and profundity of it if you are familiar with the whole show’s mythology and it’s just so beautiful and I cried and I was in the bath.
